Visiting the Rawdah Al-Sharifah is one of the most cherished moments of a trip to Madinah. Today, access is organised through the official Nusuk app, so a little preparation before you travel makes the visit calm and unhurried.

Before You Begin

Download the official Nusuk app from the App Store or Google Play and create your account using your passport details. Make sure your passport name and number are entered exactly as they appear on your travel documents.

Booking Your Permit

Open the app and look for the Rawdah permit option under the Madinah services. Choose your preferred date and time slot, confirm your details and save the permit shown in the app. Keep a screenshot as a backup in case your signal is weak near the Haram.

Choosing the Best Time

Slots fill up quickly during Ramadan, school holidays and weekends. If your schedule is flexible, weekday slots and the quieter hours tend to give you a more peaceful experience. Booking as early as the app allows is the safest approach.

Etiquette Inside the Rawdah

Enter with calm and humility, keep your voice low, and avoid pushing or rushing others. Offer two units of prayer if space allows, make your supplications, and send salutations upon the Prophet ﷺ with respect. Remember that many pilgrims are waiting for their turn, so be mindful of your time.

Good to Know

Rules, time slots and eligibility can change, so always check the Nusuk app for the latest requirements before you travel. If you are travelling with Barq Travels, our team will be happy to guide you through the booking.
